USCA Congratulates Sen. John Thune on Senate Majority Leader Role

WASHINGTON, DC – Senator John Thune (R-SD) was elected as the next Senate majority leader this week as the chamber looks ahead to January.  The United States Cattlemen’s Association (USCA) extended its congratulations to Senator Thune with the following statement:

“USCA has a long working relationship with Senator Thune and his office, and we look forward to working with the Senator as he takes on the position of majority leader,” President Justin Tupper said.  “As a native of South Dakota, it is exciting to see our state represented at this level. We know the Senator will continue to fight on behalf of ranchers as he has done now for so many years and we are ready to support him as he takes on this new role.”
