Statement from the U.S. Cattlemen’s Association on White House National Ag Week Celebration
Washington D.C. — Members of the U.S. Cattlemen’s Association (USCA) traveled to DC to participate in today’s National Ag Week celebration at the White House. USCA members were proud to represent independent cattle producers from across the country and to stand alongside those across the agriculture sector who keep America’s food system strong.
There is no better way to mark National Ag Week than by highlighting the role of U.S. agriculture in feeding the nation and supporting rural communities—and reinforcing that connection through efforts like the “Product of USA” awareness campaign. This week’s announcement made by Secretary Rollins regarding the new label rollout for “US Beef” products is a continued step in the right direction toward clearer labeling and stronger transparency for consumers.
USCA appreciates the Administration’s invitation to attend today’s event and looks forward to continuing to work with leaders in Washington to support U.S. cattle producers and strengthen the rural communities they serve.
