(November 3, 2020) – This Friday, November 6 at 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, join USCA’s Lia Biondo and Region I Director Curtis Martin, and Senior Attorney Tony Francois of the Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF) for a discussion on regulatory issues facing the industry, with a specific focus on ESA and WOTUS.
We’ll broadcast live on USCA’s Facebook and YouTube pages at 4:00pm MST on Friday, November 6. The live format allows attendee questions to be answered in real-time, providing for a true back-and-forth conservation between panelists and participants.
In 2019, Mr. Martin and the Oregon & Washington Cattlemen’s Associations teamed up with the Pacific Legal Foundation to push back against efforts by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to use the Clean Water Act to place private conservation projects under federal control.
PLF has also been instrumental in other regulatory challenges impacting the American rancher, including the Endangered Species Act and the Water of the U.S. or WOTUS rule.
Join USCA for #FactsOnlyFriday this week to learn more about how the Pacific Legal Foundation teams up with cattlemen and women to advocate for property rights issues.
