(AUGUST 9, 2021) – USCA will NOT host its monthly Horn Wrap call tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 10.
We will be in Nashville, Tennessee this week to present our Fiscal Year 2022 Authorization Request (AR) to the Safety & Product Innovation Committee of the Cattlemen’s Beef Board.
The project is a joint effort with Kansas State University’s Dr. Jim Drouillard and aims to tackle three important areas affecting consumer perceptions of beef by implementing a simple feeding strategy: 1) Enrichment of beef with omega-3 fatty acids; 2) Decreasing production of greenhouse gas; and 3) Decreasing reliance on in-feed antibiotics.
