Our family is 5 generations in ranching in Okeechobee Florida and 60 years owners of Okeechobee Livestock Market. The problems we deal with are population, environmental, development, water, to name a few! Calf prices are at an unsustainable level and we must improve competition at all levels. Freight from Florida is another huge problem. We must keep “green space” in Florida before it’s all gone!
