MEMBER ALERT: USCA Bylaws Revision Task Force

(JANUARY 11, 2022) – At the 2021 USCA Annual Meeting, USCA leadership established a Bylaws Revision Task Force.

USCA’s bylaws are the operating manual which provide the governing rules by which the group operates. The current version of USCA’s bylaws are the original version – they have not yet been amended since the organization’s inception. And since that time, we’ve grown immensely! So, the Board of Directors has identified a need to update our bylaws to match our current membership needs.

Per the current version, “USCA’s Bylaws may be altered, amended, or repealed in whole or in part upon an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the number of members voting.  Written notice, including the text of any amendment, alteration, or repeal and a recommendation for disposition by the Board of Directors is to be sent to all members at least forty-five (45) days in advance of the meeting where said amendment or repeal is proposed.

Region I Director Curtis Martin will lead the Bylaws Revision Task Force. If you would like to be a part of this effort, or have your own proposals, please contact usca@uscattlemen.org or call Lia at (202) 870-1552.
