(MAY 7, 2021) – Due to the ongoing work-at-home orders in effect throughout the city, we elected to host our annual trip to Washington, DC in a virtual setting.
BUT, that doesn’t mean our advocacy efforts are on pause! This year’s virtual Congressional Visits Day will be held June 24-25, 2021.
Over the past year, we’ve learned how to best communicate our priorities to decisionmakers while respecting national COVID-19 guidelines. As the city begins its return to normal, we hope to be able to host you all in the nation’s capital someday soon. For now, with several pieces of marketing & competition legislation in the works and two anticipated rulemakings on labeling expected at USDA, these virtual meetings couldn’t come at a better time. Lawmakers and agency leadership need to hear from YOU!
